The above definition is courtesy of  My idea for this journal sprouted shortly after beginning my new teaching assignment this year.  So much to do! So many new things to learn!  So many ideas to develop and implement! So many students with so many needs... sometimes so much hurt.... sometimes so much apathy.... sometimes so much laziness.....

This journal serves as a way for me to have a visual record of my changes and growth through this year, both personally and professionally.

The above page from November reflects the finish of a particularly awesome week in my classroom.  The students enjoy my ar class (YAY) and my chairs are always full for that time.  It's wonderful and there is such a wealth of talent among them.

Christmas Journal page

I have a journal project underway with the theme of 'Metamorphosis'. The objective is to create a visual record of this school year for me, as it has brought many dimensions of change and growth for me.
So here's a page inspired by the season :)
Blessings and love to all,
